Course Overview

Our core book series centers on the natural acquisition of languages, employing a spiral learning methodology to facilitate a seamless and organic learning experience. Specifically tailored for primary school children, these books are crafted to expedite the journey towards meaningful, everyday communication in a foreign language. Enriched with child-friendly themes, the series makes learning relatable and enjoyable, actively encouraging conversation and nurturing experiential learning.

Grade 1

Themes & Objectives

Greetings & Goodbyes

  • Introduce appropriate greetings and goodbyes.

  • Develop understanding of when to use greetings in various social contexts.

  • Enhance verbal communication skills through practicing greetings.

  • Introduce the ability to ask, "How are you?" and "What is your name?" in social interactions.

  • Teach appropriate responses to the questions, promoting conversational skills.

  • Reinforce learning through interactive role-playing activities and discussions.

Months & Weekdays

  • Identify all 12 months of the year and sequence them correctly.

  • Successfully memorise and recall the seven days of the week in the correct order.

  • Identify and name the four seasons.

  • Expand vocabulary by learning and using terms related to weather, including sunny, rainy, cloudy, snowy, windy etc.

  • Develop the ability to observe and describe the daily weather.
